Index-schema convergence, in which the discovery object is a schema-conformant agent traversing the adaptive index, is a secondary inventive step of Cross-Patent Architecture disclosed in United States Patent Application 19/647,395; the same convergence turns the adaptive index into a unified substrate for both content resolution and discovery-agent execution. Discovery objects simultaneously carry cognitive domain fields, evaluate each traversal step through composite admissibility, and record steps in lineage while traversing the adaptive index.

The indexing mechanisms of the adaptive index and the schema mechanisms of the semantic agent object converge in the discovery traversal, in which the discovery object is a schema-conformant semantic agent that traverses the adaptive index while carrying its own governance, identity, and cognitive state. The adaptive index thereby operates not only as a resolution substrate for content but simultaneously as an execution substrate for discovery agents: agents that carry cognitive domain fields, evaluate each traversal step through the composite admissibility evaluator, and record each step in their own lineage. The index, the schema, and the execution platform operate as a unified substrate for governed information acquisition.
